Geotechnical Services

Geotechnical drilling is used for site investigations where the intent is to determine subsurface geotechnical soil properties. Accurate geotechnical subsurface data provides the baseline for the design of all construction projects from surface roadways to high rise buildings. APICs services include geotechnical soil sampling (MC5 & MC7), installation of piezometers and Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) all within the same mobilization.

Geotechnical Services Includes:

  • Site Investigation in overburden, permafrost, peat, consolidated and unconsolidated soils
  • Insitu testing, including Cone Penetration Testing (CPTu) and Electrical Conductivity (EC)
  • Instrumentation installation, piezometers, monitoring wells and movement indicators
  • Soil Sampling, using the shallow depth Shelby Tube, MC5 and MC7 systems
